About Us

My name is Thomas McQuade. I am a fully qualified CIMA accountant and have spent the last twelve years working within and alongside a variety of organisations, ranging from large FTSE listed organisations to smaller start ups. My experiences range from working as a CFO, to a Finance Project Manager, to Finance Business Partnering. 

Most accountants you will come across have never worked for a business other than an accounting practice. However, my breadth of experience has allowed me to really understand what it takes to run and build a successful business. I pass on the knowledge I have gained in large organisations, to the smaller and growing organisations that I now work with.

Prior to setting up my business, I consulted a lot of small business owners. They all gave me the same feedback - their accountants didn't understand their business, were hard to get hold of, took a long time to reply to questions, lacked commercial acumen and expected them to undertake a lot of financial administration.

My goal is simple - I want to remove the headache from managing a small businesses finances and to simplify them in a way that it is easy to understand. Furthermore, I am a firm believer that accountants and finance professionals are great leaders and business partners. Therefore, I want to share my knowledge with my clients so that I can see them grow.
